Griffin Kelly is the owner of Lucky Dog Pet Care, a Jacksonville, Florida pet care company focused on providing dependable pet sitting, dog walking, extended pet care, and pet shuttle services for local families.

Griffin’s connection with animals started long before Lucky Dog Pet Care. While working at a veterinary clinic when he was younger, he developed a genuine appreciation for caring for animals and helping the people who love them. During his time at the clinic, Griffin rescued two Chihuahuas, Madi and Sammy, and brought them home to join his family’s Labrador, Bodie. That experience helped him realize how rewarding working with animals could be and planted the idea that one day he might build a business around pet care.

Today, Griffin has two dogs of his own, Oliver and Marley, who continue to reinforce just how important dependable, attentive pet care is when owners are working, traveling, or simply need an extra hand.

Griffin is a graduate of Jacksonville University, where he earned a degree in Mathematics and Engineering. He was also Captain of the Jacksonville University Men’s Soccer Team and earned Academic All-Conference honors. His years as a student-athlete helped develop the discipline, accountability, time management, and work ethic that he now brings to every client and pet he serves.

Before launching Lucky Dog Pet Care, Griffin gained professional experience in structural engineering and also worked in the golf industry, including time in a golf course pro shop. Those experiences strengthened his analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work with people from many different backgrounds.

After gaining experience in several fields, Griffin decided it was time to pursue entrepreneurship and build something of his own. His love for animals, enjoyment of working with people, and desire to provide a useful service to his community made pet care a natural direction.

Griffin approaches Lucky Dog Pet Care with a simple philosophy: show up on time, pay attention to the details, treat every pet with care, and give owners confidence that their animals are in dependable hands.

Whether it is a daily dog walk, in-home pet sitting, extended care while a family is away, or safe transportation for a pet, Griffin works to make the experience convenient for owners and comfortable for their pets.

When he isn’t working with pets or growing Lucky Dog Pet Care, Griffin enjoys going to the gym, playing soccer and golf, spending time at the beach, and learning to surf.

For Griffin, Lucky Dog Pet Care is more than a business. It is an opportunity to combine his entrepreneurial goals with something he has enjoyed since he was young: working with animals, helping people, and providing a service families can rely on.
